We’re pleased to announce that Jabbakam, the IP camera security network platform we’re working on, has just launched its API and developer site.

The API will allow developers to build applications on top of the Jabbakam system, or integrate Jabbakam into their existing apps. This is very exciting for us here as this is just the start of our developer products at Jabbakam. We’re looking to foster a developer community around Jabbakam to extend and improve the service to all our users so whilst this is small beginnings, we’re really hoping to offer a great developers’ toolbox of goodies, centered around the Jabbakam platform.

So, if you are a developer, have a look at Jabbakam’s new Developers site, and play around with the API.

Obviously this isn’t news in itself but it was good to see that in today’s sprint retrospective the plants were included in the list of positives!

In other news, Rob is off to Brighton beach tomorrow to meet up with some iPhone developers we’re hoping can help us with Doolali.

For the past year ibrow have been hard at work on Jabbakam.com. Jabbakam is an open platform for IP cameras, allowing owners of these devices to easily manage their camera online and create camera networks and share their footage with others.

The system is ideal for those interested in setting up a community watch scheme or video diary or other interest group focused around camera footage.

ibrow developed and designed the website, mobile site and iphone application, also a developers’ site that gives access to the Jabbakam API with the intention that Jabbakam will be extended by others to work on a growing number of platforms with increased functionality and features.
